I thought a good place to start would be a very brief history of snowboarding before moving onto the snowboard training part.
The first snowboard was invented and made in Utah,USA starting some time in the 1970s. The United States mint commemorated this claim in 2007 when a snowboard theme was among the three semi-final designs of the Utah state quarter.
There are also claims that the first snowboard was designed by Sherman Poppen in 1965 in Michigan for his daughter. Various other people also have claims of coming up with snowboarding, including one guy Dimitrije Milovich who had the idea of using cafeteria trays to slide on.
Whilst many people have stakes to the claim of inventing the snowboard and developing the snowboarding sport – lets just be glad they did.
